This is a working website design and a practical specification for a native Wix rebuild. It has not been created in your Wix account, and the current domain has not been changed. The design can be reviewed on its separate preview address.
1. Recreate the visual design in Wix
- Sign in to your church-owned Wix account and create a church website in Wix Editor or Wix Studio. Start with a clean layout. Keep the existing website online until the new one is ready.
- Set the colors: navy
#071A36, gold#EFB62E, royal blue#174BA1, cream#F7F5EF, and white. Use Manrope for headings and DM Sans for body text, with available sans serif fallbacks. - Add a sticky white header with the original church logo, section navigation, and a gold “Plan Your Visit” button. Add the navy tagline strip above it.
- Rebuild the sections in the table below. Use generous spacing, large headings, readable body text, navy feature sections, and gold buttons. Use stacked sections on mobile.
- Upload the original logo and, preferably, original high-resolution leadership and church photographs. The leadership photograph in this design was extracted from the supplied screenshot and should be replaced with its original for sharper display.

2. Connect Facebook and the future IGNITE community
- Copy the exact URL from the official One Faith Church Facebook Page. The screenshot does not include the page’s handle or numeric ID. Supply that URL before replacing the preview’s “Find Our Facebook Page” contact button.
- In Wix, add Facebook to the social bar and link it to the verified Page URL. Add a clearly labeled “Follow One Faith Church” button using the same URL and open it in a new tab.
- Optionally add a supported Facebook Page feed or a specific public video embed. Confirm mobile display and include a regular Page link as a fallback. Embedding may depend on Facebook privacy settings and visitor consent.
- When IGNITE is created, copy the group’s real URL and link a “Join IGNITE” button to it. Until then, keep the coming-soon label. A Page feed and a Facebook group are separate destinations.
- Add the published Wix address to the Facebook Page’s website field and the group’s About / featured content. Pin a welcome post linking visitors to Plan Your Visit.
3. Set up real Wix forms and follow-up
The current design opens the visitor’s email app. It does not collect, store, or send form submissions. Replace those contact actions with native Wix Forms for a full Wix launch.
- Plan a Visit: first name, email, optional visit date, optional family size, optional question. Confirm the service address in the response.
- Prayer: name optional, email optional, request, permission to share. Make private handling the default; do not subscribe prayer requesters to marketing.
- Serve: name, email, ministry interest, optional message.
- Newsletter / IGNITE updates: separate affirmative opt-in and unsubscribe. Do not require newsletter consent to contact the church.
Configure Wix Automations to notify the appropriate ministry inbox and acknowledge receipt. Use a verified sender, test with a real submission, and confirm that replies reach the church. Restrict access to prayer requests. Publish an accurate privacy policy describing the actual data handling and any analytics or third-party embeds enabled.
4. Connect onefaithhouston.com
The existing site identifies NetMinistry as its platform. That does not establish who owns the domain or whether it is transfer-locked. A transfer lock and website hosting are separate matters.
- Identify the domain registrar and confirm church-controlled access to its account and DNS settings. If another provider controls it, request account access or assistance updating DNS.
- Publish the finished Wix site to its Wix address first. A Wix site plan supporting custom domains is required to connect this domain.
- In Wix Domains, choose to connect a domain you already own and enter onefaithhouston.com. Follow the records Wix provides for that specific site.
- Choose nameservers or pointing after reviewing existing DNS. Preserve all needed email records, including MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, and other subdomains. Do not replace them with guessed values.
- Change DNS only after the Wix site and contact flows pass launch checks. A registrar transfer is optional; even a transfer-locked domain can often be connected through DNS if the church has access.
- Allow up to 48 hours for connection changes. Verify both onefaithhouston.com and www.onefaithhouston.com, HTTPS, the primary-domain redirect, and email delivery. Keep the old hosting available until the new site is working.
5. Preserve search traffic
Set the homepage title to “One Faith Church | Spring, TX | You Belong Here” and use a description about Sunday worship, community, and faith. Add descriptive image alt text. Preserve the existing paths or configure Wix redirects:

6. Launch checks and remaining inputs
- Confirm Sunday time, current worship street address, phone number, pastor names / titles, leadership photos, children’s program details, and contact email. The present draft uses the current site’s Sunday 10 AM, Spring location, and admin@onefaithconnect.com.
- The existing site includes repetitive and conflicting leadership history. Verify it before using it. Its giving page lists 7602 Spring Cypress Rd as a mailing destination; this draft does not assume it is the worship location.
- Provide the exact Facebook Page URL, future IGNITE group URL when available, approved giving URL, and any sermon / livestream URLs.
- Test on phone, tablet, and desktop. Check menu, readable text, keyboard access, button targets, all form submissions and notifications, directions, donations, video, and privacy notices.
- Publish in Wix, connect the domain, verify HTTPS and redirects, then update Facebook’s website link. Account access and any Wix plan purchase must be completed by an authorized account owner.
